Family Picture

Andrew's sister, Shelby, got married last month and this picture was taken at her reception. Poor Connor was having a rough day but he looked so cute in his little suit. I'm glad we got a picture taken of our family when we were all dressed up.

Our New Home

This is our beautiful new home. I'm not going to label every picture because I'm too lazy, but I think everything is fairly self-explanatory -- Living room, master bedroom, Connor's room, kitchen, dining area, and the outside. I didn't put pictures of every room because some were too messy. We have a four bedroom, two and a half bath (that includes the master bathroom!), 2000 square foot home. We put in sod a couple of weeks and I think it looks awsome. Also, just so everyone knows, I'm going to put up another set of drapes in the living room, but I still need to finish them. Welcome to our home!

New Pictures of Connor

Nicole and I got pictures of all the grandkids for a father's day present for my Dad. I think they turned out really cute and I love these pictures of Connor. He was so good that day -- he actually smiled at the camera a couple of times.

Connor and Jaime

Connor loves his cousin Jaime. Jaime plays with Connor and makes him laugh. And when Connor cries Jaime gets very concerned and says "It's okay Connor, I'm here." She is very protective of Connor and lets him know what he can and cannot play with. She is a great cousin and she is going to be a great big sister.

Connor's four top teeth all decided to come in at about the same time. He is still missing one front tooth, so he kind of looks like a pumpkin with a tooth knocked out. I am glad his teeth are almost all in -- he's been a little grumpy for the past while.

Connor still only has two bottom teeth, but they are cute...and sharp. He bit down on my finger the other day when I was fishing out a piece of paper, and it hurt.

Connor hates getting out of the bath when there is still water to play in so I drain the tub before I even try wrapping him in a towel. I think he is curious as to where the water went in this picture.
I really like this picture of Connor looking at his daddy. It's too bad you can't see Andrew's face, but at least Connor is cute.

I took Connor for his nine month well baby visit on Wednesday. It was a pretty traumatic experience for Connor. He started screaming as soon as the doctor touched him and it just got worse and worse as the exam progressed. By the time they got to shots I didn't think Connor could get any louder, but he did. He only had one shot, but I have never heard my baby make so much noise. I think he was more angry than anything.

Connor now weighs 19 pounds 9 ounces, is 29 and a half inches long, and is very healthy. He is crawling, pulling himself up to everything, cruising from couch to couch, dancing on beat to music, and eating everything I feed him. He is so much fun.

Cute Connor

Connor is growing up so fast. He is now five and a half months and I think he weighs about 16 to 17 pounds. He has almost tripled his birth weight. He has also learned how to roll. He can roll from his back to his tummy and then from his tummy to his back, but only in one direction. So he will roll across the floor until he gets trapped by something like the couch, and then he gets mad because he can't go anywhere. I think it is kind of funny.

Another one of Connor's new talents is sitting up by himself. He is still kind of wobbly, but he is falling on his face less and less. He also loves his Johnny Jumper. I love it too, because I can put him in it and he can entertain himself for almost an hour. This means that I can cook dinner without being interrupted every two minutes.

Connor also enjoys hanging out with his cousin Jaime. Nicole occasionally babysits in the afternoons so I can go to work for a few hours a week. Jaime plays with Connor and shares her toys, and Connor really likes watching Jaime run around. He smiles whenever he sees her. Jamie is going to be a great big sister and she has decided she wants to have a baby brother because she likes Connor so much. It is really nice having family so close.

My Little Man

This is what happens to little boys when they have five aunts. Poor little man. Aimee was making baby girl headbands for a baby shower we are going to tomorrow and she wanted to make sure they were the right size. Connor was the model. He didn't really enjoy the experience and I can't blame him.
I was going through some of Connor's clothes yesterday and I found all of his preemie outfits. I had forgotten how tiny he was. He got down to 4 pounds 10 ounces and the little blue sleeper was big on him. I had to take some comparison pictures just to show how much he has grown.
